Wood Firing & Salt Glazing Workshop
THE FLOOD
June 26-29, 1998
Bristol Studio Session
| |
 |
The workshop, which happened to coincide with the
dramatic 1998 Bristol Flood, the
worst flood since 1927.
It took out all bridges from the pottery into
Bristol village and left the workshop without electricity
for 3 days.
One of the unique aspects of this event was it had no effect on the workshop, since no
electric power is necessary in wood firing.
