Peter Lange testing the waters in his, just built, brick boat named Anagama.
Peter is the director of the Auckland Studio Potters and a fine potter who uses Kiwi ingenuity.

America's cup winner Dennis Conner, loaned the use of his "Crane" to Peter Lange to launch this unique red brick boat.

This was done on April 1st 2002, at the conclusion of the Big Smoke Potter's Conference.

Ceramics Monthly ran an article on this boat in it's fall 2002 issue.
