First Studio

Moretown, Vermont

Robert's first studio has a roadside sales table,
 similar to farmers produce stands.

 

   First Studio Kiln



First studio kiln built by Robert ,1972 , in his Moretown studio. The kiln was made entirely of I.F.B., fired with gas burners
and had a  Flat-top.

First Craft Shows



 

 

 

First Craft Show, 1973, The American Craft Council's
Northeast Craft Fair, Bennington Vermont.
In the early 70's most of Robert's pottery was hanging planters
which he marketed to garden centers and flower shops.

First Studio

A spare bedroom in the house, served as studio,
and the front yard hosted
an unattended display table, where, like farm stands,
people could purchase pots on the honor system.
