Robert's first studio has a roadside sales table
 similar to farmers produce stands.

 

   First Studio Kiln



First Studio Kiln built by Robert ,1972 , in his Moretown studio. The kiln made entirely of I.F.B., fired with gas burners and had a  Flat-top.

First Craft Shows



 

 

 

First Craft Show, 1973 American Craft Council  Northeast Craft Fair, Bennnington Vermont.
In the early 70's most of Robert's pottery was hanging planters which he marketed to garden centers and flower shops.

First Studio

A spare bedroom the house,served as studio, and the front yard hosted
an unattended display table, where, like farm stands,
people could purchase pots on the honor system.
