  Studio and seconds room, Kiln shed at rear

 

This photo was taken in 1997, a year before a heavy snow load on the roof of the kiln shed collapsed the building and destroyed this kiln.

 
Todd rebuilt the following summer using a similar design. 

Door for loading and main firebox.
Like many anagama kilns the firebox is below ground level,
and feeding is done in this pit.
