Linda Braken

Barre, Vermont

2004

Linda Braken (right) in her studio with indoor gas fired kiln.

Note the shelving was designed for one shelf in width,
making stacking and loading easy.
The Door was built on a separate cart.
This allows the door to be rolled away from the front of the kiln,
and permits four sided access to the cart when it is removed.

Power blowers give precise control when firing.  Note the interlocking air trap where the cart rolls in to the kiln.

Track leading out of kiln is removable. This makes the studio space more useable when the kiln is not in use.
