Hollis has an all fiber (except for the floor) kiln, with a swinging door that is aided by a wheel for support		Yasuko Dower (a neighbor and fellow potter) with Hollis Engley at his studio.
		Few hand made kilns utilize a system of burners under the kiln, but it is a common practice in commercial kiln designs.
