Bill Knoble
Red Truck Pottery, Chestertown, NY
| |
Bill Knoble has been wood firing since the early
1970's. |
The main chamber has a stacking area of over 200 cu ft. |
| His first wood kiln, was fired over 400 times before
being retired and replaced by this larger design. |
This kiln is quite unique, as it has a Bourrey box
preceding a Dogie
Firebox.
This design allows stoking in a more leisurely fashion
during the early stages
of the firing. |
