There are at least 6 kilns in this wonderful pottery center located in Auckland. Above photo, is their baby anagama.	Peter Lange organized the New Zealand Society of Pottery 2002 Conference Big Smoke, Auckland.


A Phoenix Fast Fire Wood Kiln, is also called the "Scorcher", since the wide open mouthed firebox "cooks the stoker".	The Olsen Fast Fire Wood Kiln, is also known as the "run around kiln", since you have to run back and forth between the fireboxes located on either side of kiln
