Days off usually find them out day hiking in the mountains and valleys of the Green Mountains.

   

Christine ( holding Shino) and Robert are both
hooked on Golden Retrievers.

Robert, Christine & Shino on top of Camels Hump

2005
Christine and Robert planted a small orchard in the 1970's and now
press cider from the harvest.
2005
Robert & Denny Wyman, an old friend and cowpoke,
 spend time together moving cattle on a friends ranch in Utah.

 

 

Bronze Turkeys were an annual staple, the larger males weighted in at over 50 lbs Christine's love of natural fibers for weaving, has prompted them to kept a variety of animals on the old farmstead. Milking goats was a enjoyable aspect of Robert's country life for years.

directly from the studio, Robert on Sergeant Pepper a Classic Vermont Morgan Horse

        Robert & Christine
boarded horses at their home and studio, as a side business in the 1980's.

In addition to raising a variety of farmyard animals, they share a passion for fly fishing, which is often an impetus of their travel destinations. 

This has given them a chance to fish in some of the most beautiful places on earth, from the local brooks of Vermont to the awe inspiring rivers of Alaska and New Zealand.
